On the 26th of October, we reached a significant milestone in the journey of Lennox as we celebrated 100 years in business. A lot has changed both for Ireland as a country, and Lennox as a company, since our founders walked into a building on Great Strand Street on the 26th of October 1923. To mark 100 years in business, we created a Centenary video, highlighting our past while discussing how we have adapted our plans for continued growth over the next century. Watch the video here.

Speaking to Emmett Oliver on the Newstalk Business Podcast, Leslie mentioned how Lennox has pivoted in recent years and currently works with global partners to deliver best-in-class solutions for customers. In the interview, Emmet noted that Lennox has continued to be a “persistent and long-term Irish success” over the past 100 years, something that we know is not common in any industry. Centenary Event

We had a wonderful celebration of our 100 years in business on the 27th of October at the Mansion House in Dublin. It was fantastic to get to celebrate this achievement together both on-site and at our Centenary event. The event was a success and we enjoyed taking a trip down memory lane with employees and our MC, Ryan Tubridy. We had a truly memorable evening celebrating with each other, our customers and suppliers.

Visit from the Ministers

During the week of our Centenary, Ministers Simon Coveney and Michael McGrath joined us at our offices in Carrigaline to help celebrate our rich history. We got to showcase our archival documents including the first-ever Lennox meeting and CVs from past employees. A common theme that was mentioned during the past couple of months and this visit was how Lennox is nearly as old as the Irish State. Lennox was formed a couple of months after the Civil War, which clearly illustrates the historic nature of this milestone and the challenges we have had to overcome.

Celebrating With Our Employees

Throughout the month of October, our employees at Lennox and Focus Scientific celebrated this fantastic achievement by taking a trip down memory lane. The Centenary allowed us to take a moment to truly appreciate our history and those who helped grow the company to the Lennox we know today. During this process, we looked back at the major company milestones and had fun recreating company images. To round off a historic year, we asked our employees what they liked the most about working at a company that celebrated 100 years in business. Watch the full video here

Here’s to Another 100 Years

At Lennox, we want to become the largest indigenous laboratory supplies firm in Ireland and as we enter our second century in business, our aim is to continue growing. During Leslie’s interview with the Sunday Independent, she discussed the importance of growth for Lennox and how the last couple of years have shown what the team is capable of. As new industries and technologies have sprung up, Lennox has evolved, adapted and expanded. There has been a lot of change but we have always been focused on delivering the highest level of service. We couldn’t have done it without our loyal customers, valued suppliers and hard-working employees. It was important to celebrate this milestone but now, we are looking at the next 100 years and how we can continue to provide best-in-class solutions.
