•Alternative jointing system for Glassblowers to make connections between tubing and glassware•Only glass and PTFE come into contact with the liquid being used to provide a chemical resistant pathway•Complete joint comprises borosilicate glass body, glass filled polypropylene fitting and rubber/PTFE sealing ring•Glass body has an internal screwthread into which is fitted the rubber sealing ring sheathed with PTFE. Tubing is pushed through the screwthread fitting, which is then threaded onto the glass body. As the fitting is tightened, the sealing ring is compressed to form a seal between the tubing and the body
